The Five-Pillar Peaks

The Five-Pillar Peaks is composed of five large Danxia pillars separated partly from the mother rock. The height of the pillars is about ten meters, and these five pillars look from afar like a giant palm, vividly. The formation of The Five-Pillar Peaks is the outcome of rock collapse along joints. Various sizes of X-shaped vertical joints have developed well with the gentle and hard rock formations. Additionally, The Five-Pillar Peaks is located in one side of the steep valley. Rocks on the two sides collapsed since the pressure release and the deep incised valley, then formed the initial developmental Danxia stone peak. Gravitational collapse makes the movement form unique pillar landscapes among the joints. The red pillars are gorgeous and dazzling like rosy clouds, instead, the green forest is very lush and thick. The combination of these two natural colors show vitality, like the pulse of nature powerfully beating, and is of high aesthetic value.
